Marble circular base of a fountain; in centre is a hollow basin, pierced to receive the supply pipe; round the base are sculptured the following figures; (1) a Maenad; (2) Aegipan carrying a term of Priapus; (3) Aegipan moving to left carrying a diota; (4) a satyr running to left; in the spaces between these figures the base is scalloped inward, so as to form four concave niches, within which are flights of steps.
