A ring brooch formed of two interlocking figures. A male figure in a short tunic with a kite-shaped shield strapped over his shoulder defends himself with a club against an attacking lion. The details of the hair, tunic and the lion's fur are rendered by small punches. The figures stand on a foliate base.
