Silver-gilt brooch of quatrefoil form intertwined with the angles of a square. On one side, each angle is engraved with a flower and the lobes of the quatrefoil carry an inscription terminating in a foliate scroll.. On the other side three of the lobes are engraved with the image of a bird and the fourth, which forms the pin-rest, is left blank. On the same side the points of the square are engraved with a foliate motif one of which has traces of red enamel.
