Bowl on low foot, the centre convex with a ridge round it. Moulded in relief with in the centre a profile to dexter of Mary Magdalene with her pot of ointment; on sides alternating ovals and discs. Earthenware covered front and back with presumed tin glaze. Painted in blue with lustres, red and yellow to golden-brown, following the mouldings. On sides the ovals are yellow-gold lustred, discs red-lustred forming flowers. Scrolls in red lustre on reverse.
