Plate with pronounced foot ring. Dark red earthenware covered front and back with a translucent glaze. Front has a relief moulded design picked out in gold: in the centre a shield of arms, a lion rampant with mantling and above a crown motif incorporating a winged cherub head. On the rim continuous relief scrolling foliage with flowers incorporating a shield of arms with two bends, a crown, a sideways helm and a horse.
