Album drawing. Pen and ink wash on paper. Manmatha stands upon a parrot-drawn chariot. He is on the verge of shooting the five arrows, symbolizing the five senses. They are depicted as a single five-headed arrow, which he shoots from his sugarcane bow, ikshukodanda, the string of which is a row of bees. A makara-shaped quiver hangs from his shoulders. The wheels of the chariot are highlighted with a brown wash.
