Śara (painted clay disc) depicting the goddess Durgā, riding upon her vehicle, the lion. The pair are shown vanquishing the demon Mahiṣāsura. Durgā is flanked on either side by her children: on her left, Kārttikeya and Sarasvatī and on her right, Lakṣmī and Gaṇeśa. The plate has a red background and black border. The figures are delineated in white.
