Bowl depicting a peacock. Slightly everted rim, glazed ring foot, three spur-marks underneath. Interior decoration includes peacock standing amidst poppies, bush with spear-shaped leaves and stump and plants with blossoms and tendrils; chain band design below rim. Exterior decoration includes roundels containing alternating cypresses and stylised leaves. Fritware (stonepaste); painted in lustre over an opaque white glaze on interior and transparent cobalt blue glaze on exterior.
